Established in 2001, Legacy Global Foundation is a 501(c) 3 public, nonprofit organization that’s mission is to inspire charitable giving. Legacy Global Foundation supports charities by helping donors integrate charitable giving strategies to protect donors’ assets, increase available income and reduce taxes, while financially contributing to charitable organizations.

Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Legacy Global provides mutually advantageous opportunities for both charities and donors.

Charities:Legacy Global assists nonprofit organizations by providing charitable giving programs for charities that need assistance in establishing planned giving programs and managing the ongoing administration of the gifts received.

Donors: Legacy Global works with donors to implement charitable giving strategies that protect the donors’ assets while increasing the donors’ available income, reducing taxes and supporting charitable organizations.

Advisors:Legacy Global works hand-in-hand with advisors and their clients across the country to provide education and consultation on charitable giving strategies.

Businesses:Legacy Global works with companies across the country that want to institute corporate giving into their overall business plans.

A message from Legacy Global Foundation Founder and President, Rick Durfee -

Legacy Global Foundation was founded on a single mission: to inspire charitable giving.

We are able to do this for charities by making Legacy Global strategies available to develop planned gifts and by financially supporting charities.

Legacy Global also carries-out its own charitable initiatives to enhance education, feed the hungry, support youth activities, fund volunteer efforts around the world, improve scientific and medical initiatives and other worthwhile endeavors as suggested by our donors and directed by the Legacy Global board of directors.

By working with donors and their advisors, we assist in implementing value-based charitable giving strategies that increase income, decrease taxes, provide security for heirs and create a lasting charitable legacy.

Governance

Legacy Global Foundation is governed by an independent Board of Directors consisting of:

• Thomas L. Brown, director
• Paul Peterson, C.P.A., director

Legacy Global encourages recommendations by its donors to identify appropriate organizations and causes to support. All grants and expenditures are subject to review and approval by Legacy Global’s board.

Legacy Global contracts with an independent, third-party to conduct annual audit of the foundation.
